| Periodic user reports | |
| With this option you can enable periodic protection reports based on
users. You can add users, either individually or via the .csv upload
function for multiple users. Only ASCII characters are supported for the
local part.
The PDF report outlines a summary of the spam and viruses that the
filtering service has protected the domain (or address) from receiving,
and also includes information about the total volume of mail processed
for the said user.
The report also includes a detailed table (for auditing purposes) of
messages that were rejected but not quarantined; A similar table is also
included of messages that were quarantined, including links to release
each message directly.
The option "Automatically activate for all recipient" means that when
spam is delivered to new users not yet known to our systems, they will
automatically be added to the Periodic User Report.

| Restrict delivery to valid email users with Local Recipients feature | |

To improve security controls, you have the option to restrict delivery using the Local Recipients feature. If this feature is enabled, SpamWeeder Premium will only accept email for the listed email addresses. Emails sent to any address not on this list will be bounced by the system. |

| Special configurations for cPanel | |
|
Please make sure that when manually changing your domain MX records, the
cPanel Email Routing settings are always set to "Local Mail Exchanger"
instead of "Automatically Detect Configuration". Otherwise the cPanel
server will reject all email to this domain, this will show in the log
search as "Recipient Rejected by destination server". Since it is a
permanent reject at the destination server, the mail will be permanently
rejected. Permanent failures, including failed Recipient Callouts, are being cached up to two hours.

| How to configure O365 with SpamWeeder Premium | |
|
Inbound filtering only:Using Office365 with SpamWeeder Premium for inbound filtering is simple. Once the domain is added to the SpamWeeder Premium portal, we recommend that you
then create a rule directly within Office365, to allow all traffic from
the filtering service IP's before changing MX record to avoid any
delivery issues. To set this, complete ONE of the following options: Set an IP Based Transport rule, OR an X Header based transport rule. IP based transport rule:In your Office 365 Environment, you can create a "Transport Rule"
for your filtering service delivery IPs. (**note** This is IP based and not
hostname based. Please use the IP ranges specified here: SpamWeeder Premium IP Ranges). |
