What Service Level Agreement does Postini Offer?
Postini has a 99.999% uptime guaranteed for their anti-spam service.  This is because of the multiple redundancy provided through four different facilities, two West Coast and two East Coast, insuring that a natural disaster in either area will not interfere with the system.
Our Business has 100 email accounts but we only need 25 of those accounts to be protected from spam. Is that possible?
Definitely. After signing up with Webservio, you will provide us with your administrative user.  Your admin will take charge of the email addresses that need to be included in the anti-spam coverage. All messages sent to the unprotected email accounts will not be affected by the Postini service.  You may increase your number of users at any time by contacting sales@webservio.com.
Can I change the spam notification emails to come from my domain? I would like the emails users to see our organization as the sender for the message queue reminder.

If one of my email users is not created in my Postini account, will that address continue to receive mail or will it be blocked?
You can manage a setting called Non-Account Bouncing which, if turned on, will bounce back all messages sent to addresses not listed in your SpamWeeer account. Since messages sent to non-users will be blocked by the system, Non-Account Bouncing will relieve the load on your mail server produced by non-user spam attacks.  On the reverse side of this, by turning this option off email will get through to your users who are not listed in your spam prevention account.
 What are HTML viruses?
Also known as active content attacks or browser attacks, HTML attacks are aimed at those who use web browsers or HTML-enabled email clients to read their mail. Such attacks tend to use the scripting features of HTML, or of the email client, to illicitly execute code on the PC, or to acquire private information from the recipient's computer. These viruses do not require user intervention in order to be activated.
How will users know when they have email in their message quarantine?
The domain administrator can select how often users receive email notifications of activity in their mail queue. This notification option may be set anywhere from one to 10 days.
Must I set up the Postini users for my domain myself?
No. Although you, as the system administrator, do have the access to add new users to your account, you can have us do it for you upon initial setup. All we need is for you to send an excel sheet of all the addresses that will be protected with the Postini solution. The users must be formatted as user@domain.com. The other alternative is to enable the smart create option which will progressively recognize legitimate users and categorize them as such.  Additional fees for user creation by Webservio Support team will be charged.

Protect Your Mailing and Distribution Lists You can protect mailing and distribution lists from spam and viruses. These lists are addresses that deliver a message from outside your network to a group of people in your domain, such as partners@your_domain.com, or noon_cyclers@your_domain.com. Often, when users complain about spam passing through, they are receiving the spam through their membership in a mailing list.
