  A. Regular E-mail Users
  B.
User ALiases (Aliases to an E-mail User)
  C. Alias forwarded to Aliases and E-mail users

The data types and examples are explained below based on:
-  Default main domain is spoolmail.com. We also assume that there is an alias domain called postini-solutions.com.
- Third party email address, e.g. gmail or yahoo are colored in color.
- The E-mail users are preseneted in this color.
-  The aliases are this color.
- Passwords are presented in this color.

1.2.1 Regular E-mail Users:
The first example below includes the domain name. The second example is also correct as the system will append the default domain @spoolmail.com to the username if a domain is not specified.
john@spoolmail.com    john1234
OR
kathy    kathy123

The first line above will import john@spoolmail.com with a password of john1234.
The second line will append username kathy to the default domain which is spoolmail.com. which is specified by the -m parameter when the import script is run.
So the user will be interpreted as kathy@spoolmail.com with a password of kathy123.

1.2.2 Alias to an E-mail User:
   john@spoolmail.com
john.wayne@postini-solutions.com,jwayne@spoolmail.com,jwayne@postini-solutions.com

In the above example all the aliases which are in green are aliased to the existing user john@spoolmail.com. Please note that each alias entry is separated by a comma.

Please find additional valid entries for alias creation below:

  john accounting@spoolmail.com,ap@spoolmail.com,accounting@postini-solutions.com

  kathy@spoolmail.com purchasing@postini-solutions.com,admin@spoolmail.com

1.2.3 Alias forwarded to Aliases and E-mail users:

marketing@spoolmail.com  john@spoolmail.com,kathy@spoolmail.com, postinisolutions@yahoo.com,postinisolutions@gmail.com

In the above example all emails to the alias marketing@spoolmail.com would also deliver to the email addresses:

john@spoolmail.com,kathy@spoolmail.com, postinisolutions@yahoo.com,postinisolutions@gmail.com
