IzzyMail Email Server– Administration Guide
To begin, log in to the system as an administrator. If you do not know your username, password, or admin interface URL, please refer to your IzzyMail Technical Support Sheet. If you cannot locate your Technical Support Sheet, you can check your ticket history at https://support.webservio.com.
New Account Configuration
Adding (additional) domains for IzzyMail Email Hosting:
- Select “Domain List” from the top navigation and select “New Domain"
- Enter the domain name and set the number of allowed aliases and mailboxes.
- Click “Add Domain”
Create a domain alias:
- Select “Domain List” from the top navigation and select “Domain List”
- Select the domain you will be creating the alias for.
- Click “Add Alias”
- In the “Alias” field enter *
- In the “To” field enter @fulldomainname (ie: *@yourdomain.com)
- Click “Add Alias”
Manually add the users:
- Select “Virtual List” from the top navigation and select “Add Mailbox”
- Make certain the correct domain name is selected in the dropdown box on the right
- Enter the username, password, and full name
- Select “Add Mailbox”
Create user alias(es):
- Select “Virtual List” from the top navigation and select “Add Alias”
- Input the alias username in the “Alias” field
- Make certain the correct domain name is selected from the dropdown box
- In the “To” field, enter the full email address where you would like the alias to deliver all emails
- Select “Add Alias”
- Check your work by selecting “Virtual List” from the top navigation and selecting “Virtual List.”
Other Administrative Tasks
Update user password:
- Select “Virtual List” from the top navigation and select “Virtual List.”
- Find the account you wish to modify. To the right of it select "edit."
- Type in the new password twice.
- Click Edit Mailbox.
- Note that this will require the user to re-enter the password on every device that they use to view email for this account.
