INSTRUCTIONS TO HELP PREVENT EMAIL INTERRUPTION DURING HOSTING TRANSFER TO WEBSERVIO

1. We will send you the admin username and password so you can access Webservio's web-based mail and administer the email accounts. To access Webservio’s online mail interface, you will click on the link supplied and type in the admin username and password provided.

2. Once you have accessed Webservio's online mail portal, you need to create email accounts for each of the email users. For example, if your organization has three employees who will use email (Jane, Peter, and Larry), you need to create the username and passwords using web mail. For a usage tutorial on web mail, please click here:

3. Each email user in your organization needs to add an email account to their POP3 email client (e.g. MS Outlook, MS Outlook Express). The information that needs to be put in for the incoming and outgoing mail server will be provided.

Adding an email account for each user ensures that each email user will continue to receive mail in both email accounts during the transfer to Webservio: the one receiving mail from your current hosting company's mail server and the other email account just created in, for example, MS Outlook, that will pull email from Webservio's mail server. For a tutorial on how to add an email account in MS Outlook, please click here:

4. Please notify Webservio when your organization's email users have each created an email account in their POP3 client.

5. You need to change the name servers by logging to your domain management panel located on the website of the company with which you registered your domain name. You need to change the current name servers to those listed on your technical support sheet.
