 How to Create Domain Routes For Message Routing Systems in G Suite

To deliver messages to Webservio's Routing Gateways, create a route based on senders and/or recipients:

1.  Create a new host pointing to:
mailroute1.mailshelter.com:25
mailroute2.mailshelter.com:25

2a.  For specific senders:

Set up split delivery
  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using an administrator account, not your current email account.

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Appsand thenGoogle Workspaceand thenGmailand thenRouting.
  3. Under Routing, at Routing, click Configure.
  4. Name the configuration something similar to "Route Messages From [specificemail@domain.com] to Routecloud Gateways"
  5. For email messages to affect, select Inbound.

  6. Under For the above types of messages, select Modify message and select Add x-Gm-Original-To header

  7. Select Change Route, select the new host for mailroute1 and mailroute2.mailshelter.com created in step 1 from the list, then scroll down.

  8. Select Show options:

    1. Change the Account types to affect setting to Users.

    2. Set up an envelope filter to apply this rule only to specified envelope senders. You can specify single email addresses, groups, or pattern matches.

    3. Create as many envelope filter rules as needed so that all sending email addresses that require special routing are listed.

  9. Save the configuration.

2b. For specific recipients:

Set up split delivery
  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Appsand thenGoogle Workspaceand thenGmailand thenRouting.
  3. Under Routing, at Routing, click Configure.
  4. Name the configuration something similar to "Route Messages To Specific Recipients to Routecloud Gateways"
  5. For email messages to affect, select Inbound.

  6. Under For the above types of messages, select Modify message and select Add x-Gm-Original-To header

  7. Select Change Route, select the new host for mailroute1 and mailroute2.mailshelter.com created in step 1 from the list, then scroll down.

  8. Select Show options:

    1. Under Address Lists, select Use address lists to bypass or control application of this setting.

    2. Select Only apply this setting for specific addresses / domains.

    3. Click Create or edit list.

    4. A new window will open.  Name the list something similar to List of Email Addresses to Send to Routing.  Search for your users' email addresses to add them to the list.

    5. Click Save

    6. Return to the Routing Rule configuration

    7. Select Use existing list

    8. Select the list of email addresses created in step d.

    9. Change the Account types to affect setting to Users.

    10. Set up an envelope filter to apply this rule only to specified envelope senders and/or recipients. You can specify single email addresses, groups, or pattern matches.

    11. Create as many envelope filter rules as needed so that all sender/recipient email addresses that require special routing are listed.

  9. Save the configuration.

**IMPORTANT NOTE** - NEVER BYPASS G SUITE FILTERING OR SEND SPAM TO MAILROUTE1.MAILSHELTER.COM AND MAILROUTE2,MAILSHELTER.COM.  DOING SO WILL BAN YOUR DOMAIN FROM OUR ROUTING GATEWAY SYSTEM
